The first half of 2010 has been an amazing year. We started out with an article in the Billings Gazette in February - and had a wonderful month. Besides all the wonderful guests we had our first out door wedding in June

Doug and Lee Ann,
Thank you for allowing YRL to have a small part in the memories you will have when you think about your family reunion. It's people like you that make what we do so enjoyable...(no wonder you have such a great son!...and daughter in-law) :-)

Spring is finally here!!!!!! At least I think so. The weather hasn't quite co-operated as we just had more snow two days ago. (However, the cabins are cozy even in the snow!) We had some gentlemen fishermen here this last week and though the temperatures was wonderful - the wind made fly fishing a little challenging! We are looking forward to the 2009 season.

One of our guests took this picture. I think these deer followed them to the cabin.

"Put another log on the fire"

Here is a shot from YRL in this winter, it's not as cold now, as it was then. But as I was going through some of the pictures, these reminded me of the quiet beauty that comes with this season.

I love how the snow-covered branches frame the cabin in this one.

We have stayed in this beautiful B&B for the last two years while traveling in this area. The setting is spectacular. The home was constructed so the 2nd floor main bedrooms can see the Yellowstone River. A beautiful outcropping of rock provides a stunning backdrop. The bedrooms and cabins are creatively, tastefully and comfortably furnished. Each one carries out a theme that sparks imagination and invokes relaxation. The host and hostess are so gracious and accomodating. They went out of their way to make sure our needs were met. Food was of gourmet quality, quickly served, and bountiful. We'll be back. I can't wait to bring other family and friends to such a beautiful place with such cordial owners.

Our overall experience was amazing. As we drove up the first time, there were at least 20 Whitetail deer in the front yard. Our room was spacious and very clean, The whole atmosphere of the home was warm and inviting. The food was excellent and plentiful. The owners were great people to talk to and we look forward to staying with them on another trip.

This Bed and Breakfast was excelent! I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area. It is situated along the beautiful Yellowstone River less than an hour from Billings. The food was great and the owners were wonderful people to talk with. The sun sets are so pretty and the place has lots of visits from wildlife. The B & B is decorated beautifully and really makes you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Overall a great experience and we will be staying there again.

The Cabins

As summer draws to a close, we look forward to a new color pallet of yellows, oranges, and browns draped across the landscape. We've had many wonderful guests this Summer and can't wait to meet those who are coming in the fall.
